I did open this on last Thursday but did not have the time to write about it. The color has faded dramatically from translucide purple shades to pale garnet. Flavours of macerated cherries, red licorice and some milk chocolate. The palate is now smoother, some finely grained tannins but quite melted, lots of sweet cherries and licorice, some dried figs flavours are starting to appear with time. Some heat on the finish but enjoyable and medium lenght. Very enjoyable and overall well balance, but a bit light for this company track record, but it may be a new direction they are taking.
