Johannes brought up a fun topic which I will tweak in this thread so everybody can participate in building this.
Let's come up with a list of all words that contain the word Port. I will keep a running list in this first post of the thread to make it easy to keep track of for everyone.
I will also start off with 3 that I use most frequently on this site and in the
newsletter.
1. opPORTunity
2. PORTraits
3. PORTfolio
4. PORTugal
5. rePORT
6. imPORT
7. exPORT
8. PORTable
9. imPORTant
10. transPORT
11. supPORT
12. sPORT
13. dePORT
14. proPORTion
15. PORTal
16. passPORT
17. PORTend
18. disproPORTionate
19. PORTly
20. purPORTedly
21. rapPORT
22. imPORTance
23.
24.
25.
OK, now it is your turn. Only rule: ... it must be one word not a phrase or conjunction.

Hey, I can run a dictionary file through a grep. I thought this was a mental exercise, not a programming exercise.

Well as this thread had already fallen into the junk pile, I thought ... no harm, no foul.
It would have taken 9 more years to compile a list that comprehensive and at least it is now complete.
Andy, I was seeking other Port information and happened upon that list by chance. When I am in newletter mode ... the ONLY break I take is for a work out in the a.m. and posts here, besides lunch/dinner. Sleep comes once it is in Stewart's hands.
Imagine if I drank coffee?
I think I am the only living being here in the Seattle area that doesn't. Who needs a latte or capuccino? Nothing like a great glass of late night Port or Madeira to stir the creativity.

I think the bigger question is "Can you use all of those words in a complete sentence...?

Perhaps that should be Porto-Potti. I suspect some of you will recognize where these are. -Eric

So are the orange ones for wimpy wine drinkers and the green for us hearty Port drinkers
