TN: 2007 Niepoort Redoma Rose

This past weekend some old college buddies and I treked up to the central coast city of Cambria for some major fun and wine tasting in Paso Robles. Since we had access to a car once up there, we decided to take the train up. That way we could start some wine drinking on the way in the comfort of the train. (I must add that many of my notes from this trip were just brief impressions, as I wasn't there to focus on writing TN's.)
This started it out, and at 830 am it really hit the spot
I must say my friends aren't exactly major wine drinkers, but they're learning, and giving them something that looks like, and reminded them of, White Zinfandel didn't go over well at first....then they tried it. Very nice adicity that gives the strawberries a good lift. Medium bodied and well made, a hit with everyone and they all wanted to know where to buy some. Very cool
