I've had this four times in the past few weeks and it just keeps growing on me. It is not a profound Douro white like Dirk's '05 Redoma Reserva will be in time, but this is a very inexpensive bottling and should not be compared. This is a really dry beauty and if you like Alsatian Rieslings and New Zealand earthy/grassy styles of Sauv. Blanc ... combine the best of both and that should give you an idea what this tastes like. I am pretty high on this wine even though it does not get a big score, it is a very well crafted and delicious food wine but is good enough to sip on a summer day too. My wife loves the steely nature and minerality and I have yet to pair this with either lobster, shrimp or scallops .. but I think it would be a GREAT wine to have with any of them prepared simply.

I've had a few more and they're impossible to stop drinking. This is one to buy in multiple case lots. Wow I am real sucker for this delicious wine.

Well, it does say "Crasto" on the label. Hard to go wrong with anything they produce. I also liked this a lot.

ZAP in Brooklyn is now selling these. I will report on others as they come available.

I had one for lunch today with a great slicked NY strip, steak salad. Of course we had a Douro red too, but I'll have to write about that elsewhere on the :ftlop: Forum.
