1991 Ramos Pinto Vintage Port

Decanted 3 hour before.

Clear color and soft aromas. Sweet taste with a long posttaste ...... It has desillusioned me this VP. It was my first Ramos Pinto vintage. I was thinking that any Ramos Pinto vintage would be much better than this one is. The Port was without any defect and it taste o.k., but only that :| .

I think this VP will not go any better. It'll last some more years, but it's time to start to drink the bottles of our cellars.

PS: Hopefully I´m mistaking about this VP, because I've got few more bottles left, but I don't think so.

Sorry to hear about this bottle. This is a VP that I've never seen anyone talk about, much less see a TN on. One I've also never had yet, so I do thank you for posting it for others to share. I'd suggest trying the 2003 Ramos Pinto VP, a wonderful bottle and far better than what you've described in this 1991.
