I opened another bottle of the evil one - 1983 Taylor - last night because I didn't want to open anything big after a lengthy Passover Seder with too much wine already. If you do not over-itellectuallize this wine and you just drink it, it's really not bad at all. It suffers from being a little bit thin, but that makes it a bit easier to drink in a relaxing atmosphere after a tough day. I did not jump up and scream WOW after I tasted it, but I certainly didn't spit it out either. The two other people who shared it with me both took a second glass.

After the Manischewitz, who can blame them? :salute:

There is a happy place to consume all Port wine and this sounds like the perfect place to break out a bottle like this. Look, there is nothing wrong with this wine and you've described it well Jay. If we did not encounter VPs of this nature, how would we grow to appreciate the '63 version?
