from a 375ml bottle.

I have no idea when this was bottled as there is no bottling date, but obviously it was pre-regulation change that did away with the wording "Vintage Character". I was surprised by a significant amount of sediment in it, like a young unfiltered LBV amount  While it wasn't anything to write home about, overall it was a decent easy sipping Port. My only complaint was the first few days it had an obtrusive hot streak in the finish. Serving it cold helped and by day 4 it had mellowed and became a much better drink. Not complex by any means, I'm now enjoying this far more than when I first opened it. 82 points

  Well that fire on the finish, coupled with some prior engagements, prevented me from having more than a glass at night before bed when reading the forum :D

Andy,

I just opened up a bottle of this, and, wow, there really is "fire on the finish"! My goodness... someone get me a firehose! Although, as you said, this little port is nothing to write home about, it is worth the price I paid for it. :) It is a nice, easy sipper. Now, if I can just patch up that hole in my throat... :help:
