2000 Dow Vintage Port (Was $64.99) - 7 available ($49.95)
94 points Robert Parker: "An opaque blue/purple color (typical of this vintage's top offerings) is followed by a strikingly provocative aromatic display (flowers, licorice, blackberries, and cassis). This firmly-structured, classic, tightly-knit, restrained port exhibits brilliant purity as well as impressive intensity. While not the most dramatic or flamboyant, it is a beautiful, classically structured port that will age gracefully. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2030." (10/02)
93 points Wine Spectator: "Very grapey, with black licorice and blackberry character. Full-bodied, with ultrafine tannins and an exquisite finish. Refined and well-made. Best after 2012." (02/03)
K&L's notes - Typical Dow. Big, burley and dryish style. Violets and some malty aromas. Rich cassis flavors. Sweet on the entry and quite silky on the mid-palate. Dry finish with plenty of tannin and acid evident.
2000 Warre Vintage Port(Was $54.99) ($39.95)
91 points Wine Spectator: "Lovely floral aromas of berries, violets and minerals. Full-bodied, with firm tannins and a racy finish. A harmonious yet well-toned Warre. Reminds me of the 1991. Best after 2010." (02/03)
1963 Dow Vintage Port(Was $299) ($169.00)
92 points Wine Spectator: "Tasted from magnum. This is a wonderfully silky and rich wine. Deep and concentrated raspberry and cherry character, with a hint of spice. Full-bodied and very sweet, with layers of fruit and a long finish." (12/99)
92 points Robert Parker: "This is an extraordinary house that seems to have been particularly successful with its vintage port since 1977. The 1963 is a classic, a monumental, rich, still tannic wine that will last at least another 30 years." (01/89)
1966 Fonseca Vintage Port(was $299) ($219.00)
97 points from the Wine Spectator: "This is still a monster that needs time. Deep ruby, with a ripe, meaty cassis and berry nose, full-bodied, with tons of velvety fruit flavors, full tannins and a very long finish." (01/89)
