For The Love Of Port

Port and fortified wines in general are amazing creations that can age seemingly forever. I was recently reading through some tasting notes on older wines and saw that we had some outstanding ports in our warehouse here in St. Helena. A majority of these came from a local collector who had impeccable taste in wines and a true love for ports. ---- Stefan

Lots of interesting bottles, but none of them at prices I'm willing to pay right now.

The "Remittance 1816" looked mighty interesting, but too rich for my blood right now...

I think that "bn" stands for "base of the neck". What do the other two abbreviations stand for?

I really must find my decoder ring.

While we're deciphering abbreviations, what do "hwsl" and "crc" stand for?

I think it means Heavy Wine Stained Label (hwsl).
