WineXchange in CA offers:

2003 Churchill's VP for $39 ... wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! [notworthy.gif]

Conversely the Croft they have from that vintage is $68. as is the Dow's and Niepoort VPs, for comparison sake.

Dow's 1985 VP for $80 represents a great VP and good value.

The Gould Campbell 2001 LBV is $17

Graham's Six Grapes is a mere $13.99

Krohn colheitas are avail. including 1978, 1976, 1968 and 1967 the two early ones are $109 and the youngsters a mere $59.99

The very fine Vesuvio 2004 and 2005 are both $54.99 and the Smith Woodhouse 1995 LBV is just $25 bucks.

They have possibly the best price on Broadbent's really solid Vinho Verde at $7.99 too. [yahoo.gif]

For Douro wines they have 2003-2004 and 2005 Batuta by Niepoort for reasonable prices and a dozen other bottlings between $12 and $59. Great place to buy Port and or Douro wines!

I've been buying from these guys since shortly after they started their business and they run a great shop. A couple of years ago, Andy took me there when I was down in So. CA and I loved visiting the place for the very first time. Fortunately I don't live close or I'd probably need a liver transplant as dry cleaning would never be enough.

I probably should have kept quiet, as I've been eying that Churchill 2003 for months at that price.

I order very little online, and have never bought anything newer than 2000, so your Churchills is safe from my debit card.

Eric,

Don't worry, I did not even notice that you mentioned the Churchill's. I have been getting the Winex catalog for about 18 years now ... possibly before you even had your first sip of wine. I was just going through their listing as I bought some wine for my wife there this weekend.
