I've been looking for tasting notes on the '42s recently as I have seen a handful come onto the market and know nothing about them.

I've had a few different 42s they are still going well but most I would class as close to Tawnys now.

I have had a couple of 1942s but never the Graham's. I just had the 1945 and 1948 today, along with many other Graham's but the 1942 was sadly not amongst them. I can tell you that neither of the 1942 VPs I tried were great but interesting.

Roy,
thanks. As I've found two overseen bottles in my cellar I'll try one sooner than later; you know you've a standing invitation but perhaps I can even make it in the next year to one of your events in Portugal.
Cheers
Rainer
