TN: 1994 Quinta do Noval – L.B.V.
My thanks to my close friend Roy “Portmeister” Hersh for giving me this bottle as a gift. Stood up for several hours, decanted 4 hours ahead of drinking. I have drunk this Port a number of times and this bottle has been the best showing so far. Deep red, the nose is a pleasing mix of marzipan, herbs and red strawberry jam. Having had a few sips myself, the richness of the fruit, along with the backbone of acidity, were carried effortlessly on my tongue. I found myself agreeing with my brothers who said this was almost too easy to drink. The bottle was gone in 30 minutes. No rush to drink this tasty Port. Thank you Roy! 90/100.

Nicos,

I am really glad you got my message so quickly and took advantage and enjoyed the bottle with your brothers. But 30 minutes? [notworthy.gif]
Impressive. Please do me a favor, because the notes here now go into a tasting note data base and it really helps if there is a score. If you wouldn't mind adding that, it would be very much appreciated.

TN update. I drank the last glass that I left in the decanter for 2 days. It had hardly oxidised!
