Graham's The Tawny

Hi All,

I was just visiting Graham's website, and noticed they introduced a new tawny port called "The Tawny" last November.

I was unable to find (sometimes this means very little) a source of any tasting notes or anywhere to buy a bottle. Anyone have any info on this?

Thanks, Steve

Steve,

I started a thread on this port some time ago - you can view it here:

I'm sure I have a technical sheet on The Tawny somewhere but I can't find it in the big pile of wine info...

I actually quite like this port. Opposed to most other tawnies of the big producers this one didn't age in Vila Nova but at Quinta do Sol in the Douro valley. That accounts for the difference in style, it probably tastes older than it is, and it has that typical Douro bake. IMO this is better than the Graham 10YOT (never liked that much).
