Hi,
as I'm new to all of this i still have the problem that I don't know in which Shops in my Region (Stuttgart) I can go to grab a couple of bottles and get a good tip or where you can either buy in the Internet with fair shippping within or to Germany.
If anyone knows some places or shops that'd be nice.

xaverin,
I have used http://www.das-wein-cabinet.de/ and was very happy with their service.
I have found that many wine merchants in Germany have Ebay "Shops" advertising port. If you do a search on Ebay (.de version) for Portwein, Colheita or something similar you should get some hits from sellars who are actually proper wine merchants. You can then email them and ask for a price list or find your way to their normal website.
I would not recommend that you buy port for drinking through Ebay as it can be very risky as the provenance of the wine you buy is uncertain. However, it can be a good way of locating merchants.
Another way is to use http://www.wine-searcher.com, although I must say I have not seen many hits on German based suppliers there. However, there are many hits in Belgium, Netherlands and France and all of these will ship probably to Germany.
Hope this helps & welcome to FTLOP 8)
