Morgan 1991 - bargain of the year!

Post by Tom Archer »

At the recent Christies auction I secured a 60 bottle lot of Morgan '91 for £400 + BP & VAT - see Alex's tasting note.

With delivery, this works out at just £115.75 per dozen

Anyone coming over to the FTLOP UK Xmas bash can grab a case at cost in the car park - others can call at my home at a time to suit.

I'm going to hang on to one case - so only four cases are available -

- you'll wait a long time to get a deal this good again!

Bottles were delivered today - in cases of 6 - so half case orders are OK

I saw these bottles in the Croft bottle store last March - suitably grimy - but opened a case and found that they're pristine, with fresh lables, seals and capsules.

Methinks Fladgate have bought a bottle washer...

..and are trying too hard!!!

C'mon you guys in VNG - save yourself some work and ship the old VP's as you find them - old wine in sparkling bottles looks wrong - and suspicious...!
