Had some long time friends over for a holiday BBQ and so I could clear out some wine cellar space. Decanted this magnum about 5 hours before we started drinking it, which was perfect. I didn't take detailed notes as I was pretty busy dealing with food and whatnot. Soft bodied, very sweet, fully resolved tannins, dried fruit that is starting to fade. Very seamless and consistent finish. A fully mature VP in this magnum format. I would suspect 750ml bottles of this may be getting a bit advanced. A nice bottle that, in this larger format, is still just hanging onto it's plateau. Start drinking these up.
