TN: 2007 Chryseia Douro red

2.5 hrs decanting. Medium dark red colour. Fantastic complex aroma of berries, minerals (lime) and touch of wood. Full body. Good balance of fruit and acidity. The taste is a bit weak at the start, but then building up, ending up very strong and quite powerful with a nice explosion of so many tastes. Tough tannins. Long aftertaste. A Douro red with very nice character. 93 pts.
