Van Zeller 30 year old tawny

Post by Jasper A. »

In preparation of the busiest time of the year, we have a big wine and liquor expo. Here I tasted the Van Zeller 30 year tawny port. And I must say, this is one of the best port I have had this year (and I tasted a lot).

The port have nice brownish orange color. I tasted walnuts, cinnamon and figs combined with a really nice freshness making it amazingly well balanced. The finish is increadibly long and makes you want to drink more. Way better than any other 30 year old tawny I tasted this year.

97/100

I think we are the first only shop selling it, so the link :D : https://www.vinhodoporto.nl/tawny-port/ ... _old_tawny

Very impressive and a truly scarce bottle too. I hope to taste this one day. Thanks for your tasting note, Jasper.
