1952 Burmester Colheita

Cinnamon and dried leaf spice aromas, caramel and eucalyptus, and a little cherry too. Even more concentrated than the 1965 Kopke, with a figgy character and fig paste like the inside of Fig Newton, and syrupy sweetness. The aromas are a little more interesting than the 1965 Kopke, but the balance is weaker, more (too much) on the sweet side. 93 points.
