1991 Fonseca Guimaraens Vintage Port -- 375ml

Post by Andy Velebil »

Decanted about 4 hours from 1/2 bottle. There is a fair amount of dried prunes and licorice on the nose. The palate is full of rich dried plums, some mintyness, and light tannins that still give some drying dustiness. The long finish seamlessly transitions from the palate without any hick-ups or slow downs. This 1/2 bottle is still youthful and one of the better showing 375's I've had. A lovely VP that still has a good life ahead of it.
