1964 Krohn Colheita Branco Port

Bottled in 2007. Lovely nose of honey, butterscotch, sultana raisins and wood spice. A little spirity and while the acidity was good, it had a "creamy/gummy" texture, which is similar to what I get with tawny ports that have been in bottle for too long. Nice, but could use more cutting and precise acidity. (90 pts.)

This is a good example of what happens when one leaves a tawny in bottle for too long. I don't plan on holding the rest of my bottles for much longer.
