TN: 2013 Casa Ferreirinha Quinta da Leda Douro red
2.5 hrs decanting. Dark purple colour. Aroma of fresh grapes, but not “raw” juice. Some oak and minerals/terroir. Full body. The taste is powerful, elegant, nice fruit, oak, minerals, Well balanced acidity/sweetness. Nicely structured Douro red where also the tannins is integrated in a very good way. Loooong aftertaste. 94 pts.

I have an upcoming vertical planned of Quinta da Leda and can't wait to see what they all bring to the glass. Thanks for the note, Rune.

Quinta da Leda is steadily increasing in my impression, and I really look forward to visit them during the upcoming FTLOP Harvest Tour2 in a couple of weeks. Have had many bottles of 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013 and they are all above 90 pts in my book, with the clear exception of 2012.
Overall Casa Ferreirinha is a very interesting Douro red producer with also the Reserva Especial and Antonia Adelaide Ferreira amongst their best wines.
As for their Barca Velha i may have heard that most of that is coming from Quinta da Leda, but I could be wrong.

I've really liked all of their wines. Even the lower prices ones are very good values.
Yes, that is my understanding of Barca Velha too.

Agreed! Every year I think that Quinta da Leda is getting better and better. The 2011 was a stand out wine at the Wines of Portugal tasting in San Francisco.
