TN: 2011 Pintas Character (Wine & Soul) Douro red

Decanted 2.5 hrs. Deep dark red colour. Douro-mix in aroma (berries/oak/minerals) where oak is more significant. Full body. Powerful with lovely berries. More dry than previous vintages of Pintas Character, and must be considered as having quite a tough style. Medium to long aftertaste. 88 pts.
