TN: 2009 Alves de Sousa Abandonado Douro red

Decanted 4 hrs. Deep dark purple colour. Aroma is a typical Douro-combination of minerals/oak/fruit. Full body. Wonderful well-structured taste of fruit, oak and minerals. Pleasant, elegant, but still with substance. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness. Long powerful and demanding aftertaste. 94 pts.
