8 Up and Coming Portuguese Grapes ...

Post by Roy Hersh »

Sorry to cut and paste and run, but it is an excellent article on some of the best grapes in the country, think outside of the Douro.

It is a good article, and I like all of those grapes that I've tried (7 of them I think). But really, are Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional "up-and-coming?"

A very nice article, and I can see why Eric would say that two of the most well known grapes aren't exactly up and coming.
I do however agree with the article in so far that single varietals from Portugal is still very much an up'n coming market.
