2007 Quinta do Noval Silval

Upon decanting, aromas of blueberry and blackberry, then wood and grape stem. 8 hours later, more dark fruit, grape, hint of tar, and a little sweet rose. Not too tannic at all, but there are still some tannins there. Acid is mild. This is very drinkable now, but also still very primary in flavor. Some orange citrus and more acid. Finish is fairly persistent with some alcohol warmth and cherry Sucrets flavor.
