Popped and poured yesterday cause I was bored and it was a nice sunny day out.
This was a full-bodied white, but not the typical over oaky/creamy that I hate about a lot of California Chardoneys. It took just shy of an hour for this to really blossom. Wonderful notes of white peaches, rose pedals, a wisp of vanilla, a touch of almonds on the back palate, and a hint of oak round out a long finish.
I believe WA gave this a 92 and I would agree.

Alan,
If you can get a hold of this one or the Tiara, get them. I am very pleased with both of them, and I am not a big white wine drinker. (BTW, the "Tiara" name kills me, and I would love to ask Dirk Niepoort why he chose this name)
