2020 Comboio do Vesuvio

The first, or “entry level”, wine of the Quinta do Vesuvio table wine trio. About 1/3 each of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional. A very aromatic floral nose. Strawberries, tar, and soft round tannins. The chalky finish is rather persistent and full of sour cherries . This held up very well over two days being opened. For an “entry level” wine this over performs for it’s modest price. 88 Points
