Bought and drank in restaurant Cepa Torta in Alijo.
Pretty colour, youthful still, though showing some age. Very nice nose with spices and dark fruit. Medium bodied wine with elegant structure. Lovely, integrated soft tannins. Good dark fruit flavours, with some asian spice and chocolate. Overall and elegant and lovely wine that's great to drink now, but will certainly improve with a couple more years. 92 points.

I have just one more bottle of this beauty. Really nice and the best of the older Leda bottlings. It will be interesting to see if the Barca Velha that now comes from Leda fruit will be able to reach the heights of some of the great bottlings of the past.
