Welcome: Maria Teresa

Post by Roy Hersh »

Although Maria uses the name TOBIAS to post here, she is a very sharp Port enthusiast. In fact, she works at a fabulous wine shop in Oporto and met Mario recently. She was the person that let us know the dividing line of the Cima Corgo. Anyway, it is nice to have another Portuguese Port lover in here and I hope that we get to read some of her thoughts on the wines as well.
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com

Thank you, Roy, for your warm welcome !! :D

And I should have written before to present myself and specially congratulate you for having created, and keep running this brilliant site. Your knowledge on wines, tasting notes (some Ports full of unexpeced detail) and comments, are really a great help to some of us working in the field. Having worked many years with The exportors I am now working directly with Producers / Bottlers of Port and Douro wines, so you can imagine how important this site is to keep me updated!! Will be looking forward to your comments on your recent visit here.

Also thanks to members of your team, and all the participants of this lively furum, every day we learn something from it !!

Have a nice week-end !! :D
