2003 Dow @ $29 and others

Post by Kris Henderson »

I just received an email from Flickinger Fine Wine on a clearance sale they're doing. They have some screaming deals on Port. I assume these are full bottles but best to confirm before ordering.

2003 Dow $29
2000 Quinta de Roriz $32
2000 Grould Campbell $32

I have no financial interest other than being an occasional customer. Someone please buy these bottles before I succumb to temptation. Sale ends 10/22 11:59PM and orders must be placed via email: orders@flickwine.com Orders will be confirmed 10/23

If the Dow is not a 375 ml, buy all you can wrap your arms around. Use the mortgage money if need be.

But I have a very strong suspicion that this may be a half bottle.

I already placed an order for the dows with the question that they needed to be 750's. I'll call them today when they open to confirm.

Yeah, I got another email from them this morning, this time with bottle sizes listed. $29 for a .375 of 2003 Dow is fair but not the amazing deal it could have been.

I had little doubt it was a half bottle. Sometimes a "deal" that looks to good to be true, usually is.

I just picked up 6 half bottles of the 2003 Dow's on winecommue for $20 each and that included the shipping to my office in NYC. I would have had them shipped to my house in seattle but the wife is there for for a few days and I was afraid she would be there and get pissed.
