Best part is, its only $9.00 a case to ship by ground. You don't get any cheaper than that. (disclaimer, just a happy customer)

Wow... I wish there was some way I could get some of that shipped up here. Amazing price. The Taylor '94 just recently became available in a local merchant up here... and here's the sick part:

Your price: 1994 Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port, 1.5L -- $325
My price: 1994 Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port, 750 mL -- $479.99

PIRACY! :hoppingmad: :soapbox:

Ouch! Crazy prices to say the least Todd. You can keep that highly regarded CAN$ and we'll keep our Port prices. 8--)

Andy,

I know Stefan Blicker quite well and give him extremely high marks for integrity and checking provenance beyond what most normal retailers normally even think of. Stefan and his organization are first rate. If he can do shipping at $9 a case though (anywhere in the USA) either he is losing a good amount on his shipping, or making a very solid percentage on the wine to offset it.

I've bought from Stefan before and his store is always very helpful and I've only had great experiences shopping there. NOt sure if the $9 is only a west coast thing, but either way I'm not complaining. His prices aren't always the lowest on winesearcher, but they are pretty close to the lowest most of the time. But I'd rather pay a couple $$ more from someone who is honest about what your buying, and Stefan's company fits that bill to a tee.
