Quick Heads up for UK bargain hunters

Post by John B »

I recently popped into the house of fraser store, Howells, in Cardiff and was delighted to find them offerring a small range of vintage ports at half price.

Fonseca '77 at £75
Grahams '91 375ml at £5.50
Warres '91 375ml at £8.74

The national chain that runs this shop has decided to remove certain lines from stock hence the sale. Apparently there had been a lot more when they first put the stock out at these prices.

If there is a House of Fraser near you it might be worth a phone call.

But I would call first, there were only 5 bottles of the '77 left after I nabbed one a week ago.

Thanks John, a useful heads up. My daughter is in Swansea so I might see if she can mosey on down and get some to bring home at Christmas.

Paul.
