This wine is really evolving on a slow pace. The color is dark ruby, no sign of evolution on the rim, almost purple. It took this wine a couple of hours to really show what it is about. Nose is showing flavours of ink, cassis and ripe plum, could be more expressive though. The palate is sharp, with tight finely grained tannins and right amount of acidity, the fruit is still young, with ripe cassis flavours and some licorice. Some menthol, cassis flavours on the finish, good lenght. 16/20
