- 1962 Quinta do Noval Porto Crusted - Portugal, Douro, Porto (10/27/2005)
Tasted at Quinta do Noval in the Douro - Obviously not as great as the Nacional (no surprise). Very good though. Still very much alive. Nose of caramel, red fruits, very complex. The color is fairly light, almost tawny. Medium light fruit fans out on the palate. Medium bodied. A nice port. Tannins are fully resolved now and the wine is beyond peak, but still very nice.
