Churchill's VP 2000 Magnum, $115

Post by Glenn E. »

http://www.winestilsoldout.com has 'em available.

wine-searcher.com shows standard bottles available for $60, though, so it's not that awesome of a price. It's good, but certainly not earthshattering.

Yeah not too spectacular as you note, but for gettin a magnum, it is not too bad a price. Plus shipping is free.

Actually, a pretty darn good price for the magnum. A check of wine searcher only shows one place with mags and they are selling it for $175. In the world, WS shows two others....in the UK for $137 and Switzerland for $150. I wasn't going to buy anything else this month, but thats a good deal for a mag so I grabbed one. and its only 2.75 to upgrade from free shipping to 2-day air.

$85 is more like it. $115 should get Vesuvio or Taylor magnum of recent vintage. If you live somewhere that does not have a large selection port then you live choice but the Churchill's and like when it's available.
