I want to drink the exclusive stuff as much as anyone, but such vintages must be respected. Opening such a port half-in-the-bag is a dishonor and injustice. :Naughty:

Just because one "can" open such a vintage does not mean one "should" open such vintage at a lax moment as that was.

We drank plenty of awesome port that night and it was good evening indeed!

This is exactly right!

Next time we'll start on the 1897 stuff early in the evening!!! ;)
