And now for something completely different

Post by Roy Hersh »

I had a rare glimpse of a current Wine Spectator and came across this add for a modernist glass drying device, which is chic and cheap.

The AirDry Wine Glass Dryer is only $15 and found at http://www.broadwaypanhandler.com offers some new innovations. The weighted bottom is skid-proof, and ther are rubberized hooks for the glasses. It feels sturdier and it coddles its wards. When it's time to put the rack away, the trunk can be snapped in 1/2 and the top half can be stowed inside the base, reducing its height by 1/3. Have a look.

I couldn't resist following up on the John Cleese header. Seems like a very clever invention. It would get a lot of use in our house for sure. :)

Here's a link straight to the dryer itself: http://www.broadwaypanhandler.com/broad ... Fwinedryer

Although I will probably order one for myself if not two ... what a great and inexpensive yet thoughtful gift during the holiday season!
