The cover story of this edition, which arrived in the mail today, features value-priced red wines. As part of this is a Special Report, two articles, devoted to the wines of the Douro. It is well written and quite beautifully photographed. This is a very good read and is worth seeking out.
Those who enjoy this article and feel strongly inclined to pursue in-depth writing of Portugese wine should go no further than the superb subscription newsletter into which Roy puts his mind, heart and soul.
