Drunk on 08 October 2008 in a Cockburns vertical in London.
1927 Cockburn
Light brown, but a tad cloudy. The nose was not pleasant, with a mostly musty aroma vying for attention over the dry herbs. The palate was far better, with a few waves of dry dates and figs, finishing with a dash of alcohol. A nice, fully mature Port from this excellent vintage.
