Hi!
I would like to extent my "collection" (sounds better than: "few bottles"), if anyone would like to sell for fair - not astronomic - prices please send my a message.
Interesting Madeiras are (to give you an idea): Oliveira, Barbeito and the like from 1750-1910.
I live in Central Europe, but for my friends in US: i do have a CA-adress, too.
Thanks
P.S.: Is this the first WTB (want to buy) here or am i mistaken?
anyone wants to get rid of older Madeiras?

And in addition to what Joao is going to offer, if you look down a few threads here Andreas, there is a woman who is located in NY and part time in LA, that has some fine Madeira for sale too. A couple of others here have bought a bottle each and i think she had five or so, for sale. I saw pictures and did some research on the bottles before I permitted her offering to be posted on FTLOP. I even spoke to her by phone to verify certain particulars and can say that these are the real deal and quite old and have been stored well for decades.
Nice to see you back here visiting
, by the way.

Hello all,
This is what i can arrange at really bargain prices in my opinion:
1863 Leacock Solera Malmsey (2 Btls)
1862 Barbeito Bual Solera (1 Btl)
1826 Leacock Solera Old Cask India (1Btl)
1900 Boal Reserva Solera Madeira House (1Btl)
1880 Malvasia (malmsey) Unknown Producer (2 btls)
1887 Henriques & Henriques Boal (1 Btl)
1907 Borges Malvasia (malmsey) Solera (1 Btl)
All these bottles are have no leak and are top fill. They were kept in climatized cellar.
As port concernes, i saw this:
12 Bottles 1890 Garrafeira for sale. These are really in mint condition as they were in my hands.
Clarification:
1. I DO NOT sell for profit as i don't earn any cent with these sales.
2. I will only put here wines that i saw live and in my hands to evaluate the conditionsof them
3. I only do this to help people to get portuguese wines and nothing more.
4. All this is valid for all sales that i will put here in the future.

On Mon 20 Aug 2007 the person then called jdaw1, in a thread called Fonseca 1955 wanted, wrote:I’m interested in acquiring about four bottles of Fonseca 1955 in the UK. Offers welcomed, in this thread or by private message.

And therefore, the man formerly known as "Prince", er ... I mean JDAW1 ... WAS actually first. He likes that, being first that is.

Being first, or being correct? Hmmm. I know which I think.
And no. Due in late February or early March.
