Is it possible to open a url in a new window ? I know it is, but can it also be arranged that it will happen here ? Its kinda annoying to hit the back button and sometimes the scrolling is blocked, especially when viewing large amounts of text.
thanks in advance.
Erik

Erik,
Good question, I've emailed Stewart and Dave to find out.

Yes, it's annoying. I will add this to my to do list. After the change, old messages wil still open in the same page (iframe), but new posts will open in their links in another window.
By the way, to get this working today for all posts, hold down the shift key when clicking the link. That will always open the link in its own page.

Ew... no... not automatically, please?David Spriggs wrote:Yes, it's annoying. I will add this to my to do list. After the change, old messages wil still open in the same page (iframe), but new posts will open in their links in another window.
I dislike web sites that are constantly opening new windows. That just means I have to keep closing them.
Shift-click should open a new window. Just plain clicking should follow the link in the same window.
(Which is how it works for me right now, btw.)
