Unfortunately, they're sold out already. :(

That sure didn't last long...

I gotta be more on the ball on these. The ports do always seem to show up on Fridays.

Agree with Eric. Keep your eyes peeled on the Friday offers, which typically have Port no more than once per month in the winter.

Considering how quickly the Port offers sell out, you'd think they would make the effort to bring it in more often.

And it's not like they're waiting around for someone to have a surplus of leftover wine, either, since they had the 2006 Crasto Old Vines Reserva this week, too, which isn't even available in the US yet.

Well, at least you'd think they'd bring in more of what they're selling. But it is exactly that, selling out that keeps people interested in buying. Think of the strategy them employ.

As to the 2006 Crasto old vines, I'll bring several bottles for people to try later this month. I know the guys from the Harvest Trip have already had it a bunch, 4-5 bottles at one DOC lunch where I kept ordering more and at Crasto too. It is a really nice version of the Vinha Velha but only time will tell if it will rival the 2004 or not ... or even possibly exceed that level. It is certainly looking possible, but still quite early.

That's a very good price on a nice port. No wonder it sold out quickly.
