"Opaque; blackish purple. A moderately open nose; ripe and sweet blackberry/cassis aroma is pure and pretty, with dark chocolate/mint overtones in spades, and traces of licorice, and good minerality. Lovely! The palate is less forthcoming(though the bottle we opened on Tuesday was showing very well today!), but does give lots of sweet and rich blackberry/cassis flavors, with overtones of licorice/mint/dark chocolate, and great mineral grip. Delicious! Very good body, rich, sweet, with matte yet somewhat aggressive tannins, and good acidity.
