10 Year Old Tawny Port by Delaforce His Eminence's Choice

50 cl bottle @ $9 USD. Bottled 2005. Tasted 2009/02/22.
Dark brown color light brown at the edges with no trace of red. Very distingtive tawny nose, a bit of alcohol and a bit of acid as well. Quite much heat in the mouth, nice nutty and rasin flavours. Very impressive for a 10 Y tawny. Just to my taste :wink:

This has always been one of my favorite 10 year olds. Didn't know they used a 50cl bottle; I've only seen the 75.

I just had this last night. Not a bad little wine. A bit soft and creamy with lots of buttered toffee, but very good for the price.
