K&L's notes - Typical Dow. Big, burley and dryish style. Violets and some malty aromas. Rich cassis flavors. Sweet on the entry and quite silky on the mid-palate. Dry finish with plenty of tannin and acid evident.

LOL... I was just thinking the same thing. January 1989 for the 1966 Fonseca???

Those do seem to be pretty good prices, though. K&L is really inconsistent that way... you simply must price compare against them before you buy, because sometimes (like this offer) they're good and sometimes (like the 2007s) they're crazy.
