1968 Quinta do Noval Colheita Port
Bottled in 2006. The color of this is more red than orange with some faint green edges starting to show it’s 40 years of age. A little heat on the nose that is nicely tempered by some dried nuts. It was a bit spirity on the palate and that tended to mask some of the nice toffee flavors that were trying to show thru. While this had a very long finish, the lack of complexity on the palate coupled with a tad bit of excessive heat lowered my overall score. 89-90 points.

I am interested to see if that is the same impression of those who purchased this bottling from the recent offering by Noval.
I have not had this particular Colheita of theirs and am interested in Andy's and other people's impressions of this particular bottling.
