You may have noticed some strange things happening on the forum. Most of these happenings have been in the Port Tasting Note section, with some other sections of the forum affected as well. As Roy has mentioned, the new Tasting Note Data Base (TNDB) is almost ready to launch. There has been a lot of work behind the scenes to get this done. Most of that work was done on older posts that were off most people’s radar. As we get nearer to launch it is necessary to now make certain changes to posts on the front page of some forums. Thus they are now being seen by many of you.
Please don’t be alarmed or worried if the title of your post(s) have changed slightly. This is necessary to integrate certain tasting notes with some new features that are in the works. Any slight changes are being done by Andy and Stewart as we work to hard to ready these new features for release. Nothing needs to be changed with the way you are currently posting. If something needs a slight tweak Andy or Stewart will handle it for you.
If you have any questions about this please contact Andy.

A quick question regarding the Port TN database.
Lets say I taste a Port that has already been tasted. Should I start a new topic or I can continue and reply with the one already in place? Would the later been picked up with no issue or would be avoided as we could reply "nice TN" just like we could reply "I've tasted this and found..."

We've always asked that new tasting notes be posted on their own and will continue to encourage that.
However, if you attended the same tasting as someone else and you both post tasting notes, then please post those together for the sake of discussion since both people drank from the same bottle. At a later date Stewart and I can then duplicate them as their own tasting note later.

Ty for clarification! I was always keeping the information as the same place but from now on, I'll try to create a new instance.
