2007 Passadouro Douro
This wine took a long time to open up, and never did completely, not even on day 3. Not giving much on the nose, except for some reductive tones. Not much going on in the mouth either. Not giving any fruit, overly ripe, lacking in freshness. Very, very weird. This should probably be much better, but it is definitely not giving it now. It does open up a bit on day two, giving at least some fruit on the palate, but still comes across as unbalanced. Give this some time to settle in bottle and retry after 6 months or so.
