My first taste of the wine produced from the lagar that Alex, Andy, Christopher, Roy, Stewart, Mario, David, Jay and I had our feet in during the 2006 harvest tour.
I was surprised at how approachable this was. Perhaps it hasn't closed down yet and is still going through that "drink me now if you're American"* phase?
I can say with some confidence that this is a wine that some of us will be able to watch grow up and evaluate on a regular basis over a long period of time.
Tasted here on 23rd February 2010.
* sorry guys, couldn't resist it!

Thanks for the note but help us out by adding a score to your notes please, sir.
I am looking forward to trying this at some point ... in the future, FROM MAG. I already know how good our footy wine is, but from large format, can't wait.

Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com
